PRESENTATION

Cal Segudet is a small country inn that opened July 1, 2001. The building is completely new, though it was built following the same traditional old ways in which Catalonian "masías" were built.

It has been carefully decorated in a rustic country style. The furniture, decorative accessories, as well as the combination of warm colors and plentiful natural light create a pleasant atmosphere and a sense of well being.

THE INN AND ITS ROOMS

On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a bar, a living and dining room, a library and restrooms.

On the first floor there are five guest rooms. All of them are duplex and have:

• A full bathroom
• Television
• Heating

Each of the rooms is named after a profession (carpenter, blacksmith, seamstress, payés countryperson, baker) and they are all decorated according to the corresponding theme.

FACILITIES

Cal Segudet has 11 hectares, including:

• An outdoor swimming pool
• A petanque court
• A rest area in the forest
• A children's playground area

Cal Segudet is in Castellnou de Bages.

• 15 Km. from Manresa
• 7.5 Km. from Santpedor

Castellnou de Bages is located in central Catalonia (between the basins of the River Llobregat and the River Cardener), 15 km. to the north of Manresa. It is an exceptionally beautiful spot in the region of Bages.
